Meet Mrs. West Virginia |
|
|
Angela is
a proud military spouse, and has been married to
Marine GySgt Darren McKeone for 6 years. Together they
have one daughter, Jordyn, and reside in Scott Depot.
A graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree
in psychology, Angela obtained her Master’s degree in
counseling psychology from Capella University. As a
mental health therapist, Angela works in a 24-hour
psychiatric unit, serving individuals with psychiatric
crises.
An active volunteer and board member with the Susan G
Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Angela has dedicated
her time in an effort to find a cure and eradicate
breast cancer. She is also a Key Volunteer Coordinator
for the Marine Corps where she assists families coming
onto recruiting duty. She is also a trained
Family-to-Family volunteer/educator for the National
Alliance for Mental Illness in West Virginia.
Angela’s goal is to spread her message of breast
cancer awareness across the state as Mrs. West
