INFORMATION


In order to make the journey you must take the first step.

APPLICATION FEE: A $200 application fee is due at the time you send your application to us. This includes your beautiful satin banner, with the title of your choice, acceptance package information and information you will receive throughout the year. One Hundred Dollars ($100) of that payment will be applied to the ENTRY FEE. This money is non-refundable and non-transferable.

ENTRY FEE:   As the new Director of Mrs. West Virginia America we are offer a “First Year Directors Discount” of $299! That is a total of $499 to make a dream come true!   You will receive all photos and a DVD of the pageant, meals, ticket to show for your husband, and Free Memory Book. Plus, use of the Opening number dress and your swimsuit sarong. No applications will be taken after July 1, 2008. All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

JUST FOR YOU! Through the years many of the delegates have ask if there is a crown...we are proud to offer you a smaller version of the State winners crown! THIS IS NOT A MANDATORY PURCHASE, but rather an opportunity for you to wear a crown and banner to your appearances. The cost is only $65 and includes shipping and tax. If you would like to have a crown send a check or money order to Classic Promotions at the address provided or pay through Paypal.com on the Mrs. West Virginia website.

OPENING NUMBER: Your opening number dress is provided.

SWIMSUIT: You may wear a one or two piece in any COMBINATION of Black & White. Remember that 25% of your score is in swimwear. The Swimsuit Sarong is provided.

JUDGING: Judging is as follows: Interview; 50% Swimsuit; 25% Evening Gown 25%

TICKETS: All delegates are required to purchase 10 tickets at $30 each. Everyone will receive the official Mrs. West Virginia Program Book with the purchase of their ticket. Husbands will receive a free ticket. Children under 2 are free and 12 and under are $20 (with no program)

LOCATION: The SCOTTISH RITE AUDITORIUM – 406 Capital Street, Charleston, WV.

HAIR AND MAKE-UP: Hair and makeup artist will be allowed in the backstage area. The cost is $50 for a backstage pass. These passes must be purchased at least one week prior to the pageant. Due to space issues, you are allowed only one person per contestant. Dressing areas will have “dressers” to help with changing. Male make-up/hair artist are not allowed in the dressing area.

REQUIRED AD SALES: Ads may be sold in whole or half pages. Ads are $300 and that includes the “Ad Layout Fee” of $25 for the Graphic Designer. If you decide to have half pages they are $185 and also include the Design Fee. All Delegates are required to sale one page.

LET’S GET STARTED WITH PHOTOGRAPHS ……First things first, you will need a professional photograph; further information will be in your acceptance package. Don’t worry about a snapshot that you may have sent in with your initial application. Your snapshot will be returned to you, it will not be used for publication purposes.
